I had been years ago as a kid and on our way back to the east coast from a long trip to Colorado we stopped in Amarillo for a night. We took our 3 girls to the show. (10yr, 5yr & 3yr) they LOVED it! We were very close to left side of stage and the girls loved being able... More

The musical is for all ages and will have you wanting to go back again and again. We have never seen an outdoor musical like it before and look forward to travelling back from Australia to see it again. Absolutely the best, it is so patriotic. A credit to all involved in presenting this beautiful musical.

This musical retelling the history of west Texas is put on by very talented college students. You will enjoy it! I suggest sitting on the right side or the middle. The online seating is a mirror image. I thought I was purchasing tickets on the right side but they were really on the left side.

Suggest making a reservation for the Dinner and Show to get decent seats. First visit the park and look at the views, then go to the theater area early and enjoy the Chuck wagon style BBQ dinner. The show we saw was excellent, wonderful dance routines, good music and acting. Seats were comfortable and view excellent. Suggest get seats in... More

Passing through I-40 for your summer vacation....make it a point to stop and share an unforgettable experience that will leave a lasting impression on your kids. The backdrop of the Palo Duro Canyon adds to the majesty and pageantry of the play. We were fortunate enough to be there on a night where a professional photographer was taking photos, so... More

I am surprise to know that most of the performers are kids in colleges and this is their summer job. (Correct me if I understand it wrong). Preshow dinner starts at 6 pm, it is a BBQ buffet from a local restaurant. It is as good as it can be. We decided to have the preshow dinner so that we... More

Thank you for taking the time to review TEXAS! You are correct, the majority of our cast, crew, and front-of-house staff are kids in college or recent graduates. For many young performers it is their first professional paid acting job. Many come back to perform summer after summer. Seeing these college students develop into professional performers is one of our... More

not as good as it once was. the acting needs improvement . it seems like they are reading a script. Tucker needs to add some emotion to his dialog.the dancing was the only part that is still good.

The show did seem to start out a little corny but not long into it, we were really enjoying it. Perfect setting, good acting and voices, great tribute to Texas and America!

A fantastic show. Using the Canyon wall as a backdrop for the show is ingenious! Great performance from great performers. We also took the backstage tour which gave a more insight to the show creation and performance!

This was awesome. The seats are comfortable and the people there are so nice. We had the barbecue before the show and it was good as well. The show is about 2 1/2 hours long but is was wonderful.
