This nature center has beautiful and comfortable walking trails. It is full of birds and other wildlife. I especially enjoy looking of the owl families that live there. They are a popular subject for local photographers.

Take a quick walk or spend a few hours. It's a peaceful, clean and safe area for walking and exploring. Nature & landscape photo opportunities abound. A wonderful spot to take the youngsters to introduce them to nature. I visit as often as i can.

The flutter of wings causes a brief startle. You stop mid-stride, look up and see a Great Blue Heron rising from its perch on the other side of the pond. Her trajectory so low the reflection of her sleek body dances off the glass-like surface....More

Clean, shaded and easily accessible. The local boy scouts have done a good job of preserving this nature area. The trails are easy to navigate and the pond and dock are nice.

Our family has enjoyed the nature center for some time. We've stopped after church for the kids to play on the playground, brought fishing rods to fish, and just walked the trails. After a recent lunch with a friend, we stopped in the Mill Creek...More

Normally well maintained trails (except after a big rain). Ducks, squirrels, rabbits, possums and other wildlife. Limited bike riding trails. You can fish in the multiple ponds. I think they stock certain ponds at different times of the year (or they use to). There is...More

6:30 am - 9:30 pm. There are no fences or locked gates. However, after dark it is very dark, with no lighting.
