We came here for a little visit - mainly to take in the views and go for a quick walk. It really is a quick walk to the light house - flat enough I think for most including kids and elderly. Some areas can get a little rocky at the top. There is no fencing around the top so keep... More

Easy access from car park. The day was beautiful and the surf from both sides of the headland was spectacular. Highly recommended. Light house itself was mediocre.

Not the biggest Lighthouse in the world but in a beautiful spot. The walk through the bush is shady and you may see scrub turkeys if you are lucky. The view from the headland is excellent and the little information boards along the way are interesting. Certainly worth the walk which isn't too hard or too far.

Went for a walk to wear the kids out. Great views, but the first part of the track was pretty sandy - the steps on the last part are good. Once you get to the light house, it's only little but cute. My 3 year old was disappointed we couldn't go inside and climb to the top... The cliff drops... More

Lighthouses are really awesome. They have a lot of history & are always painted white. Don't konw if it was working at night cause we had a few drinks & I went to sleep. Good views !

2 friends and I stayed at the Fingal Caravan Park in one of their island cabins for 4 nights five days. It was a lovely cabin that had a queen size bed in one room and a single bed plus a set of bunk beds (slept 5 all up). It was directly facing the beach, right next door to the... More

Amazing place to visit. Easy walk to the lighthouse- mostly bush path and board walk/stairs. So worth anything for the views. Today we spotted two pods of dolphins swimming just offshore. Was spectacular. We went to dreamtime beach- was there at 9am. We were the only ones there for an hour or so. Left the lighthouse carpark at 10.30/11 and... More

Beautiful place, nice views. Great for both a short time visit and for spending the whole day on the beach. Take photos near the lighthouse,on the unusual natural cliff island, meat iguanas and beautiful birds. Romantic and suitable for families.

Climbing up to the lighthouse from Fingal is a short pleasant walk that rewards with glorious views across the foreshore and the long beach. Very much worth a visit when in the area...

Accidentally drove to the post shop to buy ice cream and found the road name "lighthouse PDE". This alerted me to see the lighthouse. The little lighthouse standing there after a short walk has already been a nice scene, but surprised me more when I walked down the hill to see the columnar basalt, a miniature of the N. Ireland...
