I visited the exquisite Dallas Museum of Art earlier this year to see the Jackson Pollack exhibit. Both the exhibit and the Museum's regular collection exceeded my expectations. I've been spoiled by Chicago's and New York's art museums over the years, but I was very impressed with the layout, lighting and the staff of the museum. This is a world... More

I love to visit this museum, the selection and display is wonderful. I am an avid fan of impressionist art and they have a great collection. They also offer special events and several years ago they had a marvelous exhibit of Georgia O'Keefe and also the King Tut Exhibit was fascinating.

What a wonderful way to spend a few hours! Free admission! Each floor has its own specialty, something for everyone. I would suggest allowing about 2 hours, even longer if you have a specific interest.

I have only been to a few art museums in my day. Having said that, the Dallas Museum of Art was definitely worth our time. We had a lot of run walking through as many exhibits as possible - I'd say it's best to leave at least a few hours to walk through and admire the art. Best of all,... More

The Museum has a great kids area, so if your traveling and need a few hours break for the kids (and you), to unwind and have fun it's a great place. They also bring some amazing collections for an all-adult-day.

I saw the Jackson Pollack show which was so fascinating to see that many examples of his work and see the diversity of his work. I loved the strong splashes of paint contrasted with the delicate nature of parts of the paintings. Very interesting colors in some of the paintings. Amazing show.

I took a break from a conference I was at and spent a few hours here on a weekday afternoon. Highly recommend! It was beautiful, lots of great art, friendly and welcoming staff, and it was free! This was a highlight of my trip.

The Dallas Museum of Art was bigger than we had anticipated, it was beautiful and great for teenagers'. most of the exhibits were free.
