We are so lucky to have the Dallas Museum of Art here with so many beautiful pieces - and the museum is free!! Parking is easy and convenient. There is a little bit of everything - Egyptian artifacts, African idols, Greek sculpture and jewelry, modern art, Islamic pieces, and my favorite - paintings of all types and all eras. The... More

Excellent presentation of the International Pop exhibition. Included a few excellent pieces from the 1962 Sidney Janis, New Realists exhibition.

A huge museum with a few treasures. My favorite was the Reves Collection, a beautiful collection from on couple in the south of France. The silver collection was also very interesting. Definitely worth a visit.

The Dallas Museum of Art has a broad range of interesting exhibits and world class works that warrant a visit. The gallery is free for the permanent exhibit and is open most days (closed Monday). We easily spent 2-3 hours on our visit, and didn’t see it all. The Museum shop is excellent too. The Museum is an easy walk... More

My view may be biased as in my opinion there was nowhere near enough contemporary art. It's like they've managed to just get one really minor or less-important work of every artist they "should" have. The layout is also confusing and has no flow. I did appreciate the decorative arts section which was substantial.

I always love coming to see what the DMA has to offer. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe is exquisite. I recommend it to adults and kids / families.

The museum was pretty cool. It had 5 level floors. I only wish it was cheaper to attend. I wouldn't go back by its slightly pricey n they sale everything separately.

On a rainy afternoon you can have tea at a local hotel and venture into the Art Museum to see all the wonderful exhibits

A great visit to a beautiful museum so well laid out with a laid back approach. Some really good art and well signposted. There are certainly some unique things on view. Well worth a half day visit.

Very interesting exhibits, too much wasted space takes a long time to get around.. Don't bother to eat in the cafe.
