At White Rock in and out of the water are such a variety of life it's amazing! And walkers and cyclists alike are comfortable spending a lot of time there.so peaceful and real and the Owls are a real treat.

An oasis in the middle of the city which draws a number of bikes, runners, and walkers. A very pleasant way to experience nature without a long trip out of town.

Our duaghter lives in an apartment near this lovely lake. One can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere sitting on the grass, or on a picnic bench, taking a walk, or bike ride around the lake, or just drive around it.

Beautiful lake. Something for everyone and close to the Arboretum and dining choices. Or take a picnic. Go paddle boarding or kayaking. A photographers paradise.

I have been going to White Rock Lake since I was born. This past weekend, I took a friend there to walk around and have a picnic. It was fantastic; felt like old-times. My friend loved it here!

We ride our bikes around the lake. Lots to see, both birds and plants. Love the spillway bridge. Great place to people watch.

There is no charge for parking anywhere at Whiterock Lake. Keep in mind that the Dallas Arboretum borders the lake and they do charge for parking there.

I did not see a beach for people but did see humans swimming with their pets at the dog park (lake).
