This was a great picturesque place. It has a wonderful silence in its air. Huge lake suited for kayaking, fishing, catching pokemons and perfect place for a small picnic.

We live close so we bike around here frequently. It is a family place, great for picnics!! You will see kites, walkers, bikers etc. The only drawback is the parking if you drive there. Beautiful old trees provide plenty of shade.

Nice area for walking, biking, skating or having a picnic. The lake offers kayaks, canoes, and paddle board rentals. Some spectacular sunsets. One of our favorite places to hang in Dallas!

This is an amazing treat for Dallasites. Fantastic to stroll, bike, run along 9.3 miles of paved walkway around the lake.

I went there to do some rollerblading and biking. The rollerblading was tough due to some of the trails (bumpy asphalt), but the biking was great. The trail is well marked so you know which path you are on

A man-made lake in the heart of Dallas, White Rock Lake provides a refuge from busy city life. Take a Saturday or Sunday morning stroll to walk your dogs, ride your bike, or go on a run on the trails available.

I've never seen fishing equipment for rent out there and didn't really have much luck the one time I took my kids fishing there but that was probably user error. Other people fish out there and have had success.
