While it's a little hard to get around in a vehicle, the pathways for walking and cycling go all around the lake with some very pretty views. most are off of the main roads so you don't have to deal with vehicles and while some are a little bumpy in places, most are very well kept.

This a wonderful and huge natural place to walk, run, fish, or just chill. There is a huge and beautiful lake. It is a dog friendly place.

Plenty of paved trails suitable to walking, bike riding, jogging, and dog walking. Between the lake, natural areas, lovely homes, and people and dogs, there was much to keep our morning walk interesting.

If you like the outdoors you will find almost all of it here. If you follow the trail around the lake, it is almost 10 miles. If you deviate a little bit but still in the vecinity, it will be slightly over 10 miles. You can ride your bike, roller blade, jog, walk, sail, row, or simply go to one... More

I ride around this lake about 3 times a week. Really nice. I usually take the road as a cyclist to avoid all the walkers, runners and Skaters that use the paths. There are a couple other paths off this one if you want to go for a longer ride. The Creek Trail and The Santa Fe Trail. If you... More

Great to relax, quiet surroundings, you can walk, run, bike, picnic, let the kids play, watch birds (parakeets, pelicans, etc.), spot turtles, or just sit on a bench and look at the water. There are restrooms in at least one place and several parking lots, so you can choose whatever location to start your trip.

A fun spot right next to the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. When driving in, don't take the first parking spot like we did. There were plenty of spots much further down the road and closer to more activities. There were many people taking advantage of this gorgeous area and well-kept bike/exercise path. The views are breathtaking. We were surprised... More

My husband, son, and I were out and about in Dallas, and decided to stop by a local park to spend the day. We decided to come here, and though we only stayed in one section of the park (by the memorial bench) it was still beautiful. People were out fishing, riding bikes, and taking their dogs out to play.... More

I went for the bike trail and found it delightful. I'm from out of town and had my young grandson with me so didn't want to venture too far. We saw turtles sunbathing, people fishing, dogs swimming (at the dog park) a variety of birds flying, couples jogging or canoeing and families walking, stopping at a playground; and all of... More
