Once you climb the hill along with the longhorn statues you’ll come to the cementery. It is small but interesting the names & dates of original settlers.

I love history. This cemetery contains the graves of original settlers and veterans of the Confederate army. The information plates near each grave are very informative

People need to go out and see this place before it is tore down by history hating idiots, look at what happened to Lee Park.

This cemetery is adjacent to the bronze long horn herd. It represents the story of Dallas and its settlers since the 1800s. There are tombs dated 1850 and is composed of a series of remains of four other cemeteries

There are a few of these cemeteries in places on would not think there would be such a place. This particular cemetery reminds us of what Dallas was while surrounded by the modernity of Dallas today. Definitely worth seeing!!

It's in an interesting place to wander and contemplate those that came before and founded the city. There are some amazing tombstones and some plaques that give more information about some of the influencers that built and shaped dallas in its early days.

We stopped here after looking at the cattle sculptures. It's right up the hill from them. Headstones are disintegrating and hard to read. Some date back to the early 1800s. Some of Dallas' first families are here. I heard that the bodies are gone but...More

If you are looking for a peaceful side trip in Dallas this Park/Cemetery is a nice place to stroll in a natural oasis in the middle of the city. The inhabitants were moved but the tombstones remain though some are worn by time. Though most...More

This old cemetery is close to the cattle sculptures and it's worth a quick visit if you are in the area. Resting place of many early Dallas settlers.

If not busy, there is a small free lot between the cemetery and the bronze steer display. If not, there are parking meters on the street.
