This park and nature preserve is one of our favorite places to hike. Some of the trails are a real challenge and some are pretty easy. They are well marked and kept clean.

This is a beautiful hiking area. However, you should come during the week. On the weekends, the trails are full as if you're at a tourist spot. Absolutely ridiculously crowded. 😞

We love to go hiking at CRP. The surroundings are beautiful and the hiking is excellent. Great way to spend an morning or afternoon. Can get hot in the summer, so go early or later in the afternoon and bring plenty of water.

Yes, dogs are welcome! They even have a low to the ground water fountain for dogs by the restrooms. They will love this place.
