This aquarium was meant to be seen at stroller level and is very fitting for kids that age. My 1.5 year old loved walking around on a weekday when there were only a handful of other visitors. It didn't scare her as I expected, not even the eel or sharks. There's a bit more light than typical aquariums. She loved... More

Part of a short "adventure" trip for grandchildren. Excellent experience for a minimal price. Only downside is the long walk from (free) parking area. Helpful, friendly staff.wonderful exhibits. Opportunity to see sharks fed....All three grandchildren loved it.

It was perfect for my 1 year old grandson. Most things are in view from a stroller! There was lots of movement in most of the displays so he could spot the various specimens. It is a VERY small exhibit so I wouldn't recommend it for children older than 4 or 5! Many of the displays seemed to be labeled... More

Took our little ones here for a family vacation, and they really enjoyed themselves as did my boyfriend and his brother. The aquarium can be a bit confusing to locate because it is on the State Fair property but easy enough to find, if you follow the signs. Our oldest son enjoyed feeding the sting rays. He was smitten with... More

We went mainly so the kids could feed the stingrays, but this aquarium is the right size for younger kids to explore. Recommended!

This a perfect sized attraction for a family with young kids. Lots of hands on stuffs to do. Feeding the sting rays was fun even for adults but if you don't want to pay the extra for the sting ray food, the rays love to be touched. The price is affordable and a building itself was an attraction for history... More

This is a great - if small - aquarium for families to visit. My 3 boys had a blast checking out the sharks, turtles, sea horses, and thousands of fish here. Best of all, touching the sting rays is part of the admission price. There is a separate, roofed, outside viewing area for the sting rays. I think it was... More

This place was both affordable and fun. In fact I wouldn't have minded paying more. The stingray were beautiful. The kids enjoyed the albino alligator and the sharks and so did I.

Unless you just want to touch the sting rays in the pond out back, there is not much here that is not available along with much more at the Dallas World Aquarium. Sad but true.
