This a perfect sized attraction for a family with young kids. Lots of hands on stuffs to do. Feeding the sting rays was fun even for adults but if you don't want to pay the extra for the sting ray food, the rays love to be touched. The price is affordable and a building itself was an attraction for history... More

This is a great - if small - aquarium for families to visit. My 3 boys had a blast checking out the sharks, turtles, sea horses, and thousands of fish here. Best of all, touching the sting rays is part of the admission price. There is a separate, roofed, outside viewing area for the sting rays. I think it was... More

This place was both affordable and fun. In fact I wouldn't have minded paying more. The stingray were beautiful. The kids enjoyed the albino alligator and the sharks and so did I.

Unless you just want to touch the sting rays in the pond out back, there is not much here that is not available along with much more at the Dallas World Aquarium. Sad but true.

We where there during the 4th of July fireworks. It was a bit busy but not overly crowded. Was really cool how you could touch a stingray, also up front there was a small tank with a volunteer that allowed you to touch a couple of unique aquatic creatures. My nephew was just amazed as these where not like his... More

I didn't know this place even existed. It's an old art deco building and the displays show it. But for a toddler it's great. The aquarium is small but the staff is very friendly and very good with small kids. The sting ray bay was really exciting for my little one. The parking for the aquarium is free but you... More

While many of the animals kept by the Dallas Children's Aquarium at Fair Park are rescues, the conditions in which they are kept are very depressing. For the smaller animals, the small, confining tanks may be appropriate, but for the larger animals, such as sharks and sea turtles, which migrate hundreds of miles a year in the wild, the conditions... This place is great for children. Especially the stingray bay. The children thoroughly enjoyed being able to touch the rays. The albino alligator was enjoyable too. Would thoroughly recommend a day out there too.
