If you come to Dallas, please decide to at least spend a day or a couple of hours walking around in Bishop Arts District, on the south of Dallas, just across the Trinity River. Especially when the weather is good, you can enjoy your late afternoon till the early evening, or even night, walking outside, from store to store, to... More

The bishop arts district is a great place to get a good meal, enjoy happy hour with friends or grab a cup of coffee and an awesome piece of pie. You can do it all in one area. Arrive early for bast parking.

I have always been amazed how areas can become trendy. The I never under stand how places can become "the end place to be" District is one of those areas in my opinion. Over priced boutiques and an assortment of restaurants from pricey to moderate. Located in a area not equipped to handle the traffic and the parking is a... More

A cluster of shops and eateries at Bishop and Davis. Extending 3 blocks south and a block either side of Bishop is the extent of it (don't let maps convince you it's larger). 4 blocks from the end of the Dallas Street car line, the trip is all part of the fun.

We could have spent half a day here just eating! The shopping is unique too. Going back tomorrow! Shop owners are super helpful about the area.

Notwithstanding lots of street construction and extremely limited parking, we managed a lucky car space on an early Saturday evening. (I have no idea where you park when you show up at 6:30 pm or later on a Saturday night). The district is quaint, reminding me of the 60's but with upscale shopping in various well appointed non-commercialized boutiques. You... More

We spent an entire afternoon here at the behest of my daughter, who had seen a bunch of this on Pinterest and wanted to go. It was actually pretty fun to do, and we enjoyed talking with several locals in the shops and on the street. Wasn't too crowded so it worked out well. There's some fun shops in here... More

Attended the Mimosa walk by accident and fell in love with the area and the people. Beautiful around Christmas time and plan on returning in the future.

Only a few blocks, but very charming. Great restaurants (Lucia), Lockhart BBQ, plenty of places to drink, minglr and socialize, a special bookstore (Wild Detectives), theaters (Kessler, Texas) and a neat neighborhood atmostphere. And don't forget to stop by for a slice of pie at Emporium!
