Went on the first Saturday of the month - free admission. Lots of cute kids enjoying an art scavenger hunt. Target was giving away nice gift bags. Really enjoyed this museum and the store is excellent.
Slabs of Corten steel planted in a garden. Girders welded into unusual shapes. This is a temple of modernist sculpture. Currently there is a comprehensive exhibit on Hans Arp that is clearly definitive. But you have to be passionate for this kind of highly intellectualized...More
Outdoor and indoor. Peaceful. Outdoor sculptures are touchable. You can sit or stand right next to very well know artist pieces.

Some if the sculptures really touch your heart. It’s amazing how artists think. Trying to depict music through sculpting. Depicting still water through wood. The thought of it is just mind boggling. Inspires you to stretch your own creative horizons and do better.

It’s a beautiful place to walk among the beautiful sculptures, the trees and the ponds. I pay attention to some master pieces of art coming from Chillida, Picasso and other important painters and sculptors.
Parking cost, museum cost, inside museum is small but outdoor sculptures were fantastic. Other problem was it very hot day so outdoor was miserable. Museums like this should be free. Many cities are not charging for museums especially if you have to pay to park.
