We love going on the trolly and also going to where it turns around. the conductors are patient and love driving these relics of a time gone by. The route has broadened over the years.

We love to take the trolley around uptown. It is free and a great way to get a "lay of the land". Recently, we used it for a birthday party bar hop, and it was perfect. Hop off, check out a restaurant or bar and...More

Great way to see parts of Dallas! The trolley is a mode of transportation and not just for tourists. It shows you parts of downtown Dallas and it's FREE! You can jump on and off

Can't beat this free trolley service running between West Village and downtown. The vintage cars run about every 20 minutes, and there's an online MATA app that will let you see where they are so that you can decide when and where to wait. Fun...More

We found this trolley ride near a major station. Our aim was to get to the Arts District. The trolley track took us past the many spaghetti type roads and highways that service the CBD and surrounds. One of our aims was to see the...More

Love the McKinney Avenue Trolley! Have rode it many times, great way to see a lot of updown Dallas. Took the whole family after enjoying the food trucks at Klyde Warren for Memorial Day.

We parked our car at Dallas Museum of Art and paid $12 for the underground parking garage. The garage was close at 9 pm. We walked to Klyde Warren Park. We took the free McKinney Avenue Transit Authority trolley for one-hour return trip to the...More

Eat at Rustic, walk one block to catch the free trolley to Klyde Warren park (lots of games and activities to do there for free), then walk back up McKinney for window shopping and peoplewatching.

I agree, about an hour, but the nice thing is you can get off, have dinner or shop and get back on. Also, the Roundabout is very cool, especially if you have children along.

Yes, the trolley does not move fast so I'm sure they would allow a child to ride in your lap.
