This is not "The Grand Old Opera" from Hee-Haw. Dallas Opera is the real deal and Grand Opera at its best. I went to see "The Flying Dutchman" and it was spectacular. I did not realize that I may be an Wagnerian, smile. The house...More

We sat in the front row of the mezzanine, and our view was great. The acoustics were excellent. I was a tad disappointed in the orchestra. It's not up to the standards of the Dallas symphony, or the Fort Worth opera (whose orchestra is drawn...More

An excellent venue for music concerts and individual performances and the size of the facility is just right if you like smaller places with excellent seats in all locations. We enjoy the shows and the parking is right under the building.

Stunning like a European Opera House this is one of the best places for opera. The rising glass chandelier is a beautiful piece of a\rt.

Attractive setting both inside and out, and the staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Have always enjoyed every performance whether it be a play, a dance or musical. Going again soon and looking forward to it!

The building is beautiful inside and out and the sound quality is outstanding no matter where you sit. We were in the second balcony near the center and couldn't have been happy with the view and music.

Pretty building but you dont want to be in the cheap seats on the 5th floor IMO. A lot of those should be labelled obstructed view. Had seats the for Magic Flute and could not see much of the stage. Just saw Don Giovanni from...More

My wife and I had the good fortune of experiencing Riverdance at the Winspear Opera House. The performance was most certainly a top ten of our theater experiences. The venue I would consider a formerly modern elegance. The seating was comfortable and the ambiance enjoyable....More
