A local guide explained how one Japanese Photographer took pictures and sent them to an artist in New York, who had never been to Japan, to finish the art project. Wow, it really came together and made sense. I appreciated the art much more with...More

A beautiful small museum with an exceptional collection in a delightful building. The pieces are well displayed and there is lots of information to help you put the works in context. Do not miss out if you are in Dallas.

Most likely not a fair rating as they are in between exhibits, so only garden and one room was open. Even so, the Samurai display was impressive and the gardens gorgeous. I'm hoping for better luck next time

Love going here with my daughter. It is right across Nasher and they do art stuff for kids on First Saturdays of every month. They also have face painting and other events!

Interesting artwork from various Asian countries. Interior and exterior of museum itself were also nice. The displays were simple and appealing to me. Not sure if young children & teens would appreciate the museum.

Admission is free, but I would suggest you consider a donation - perhaps $10.00 a person. Hours on Sunday are 10am - 6pm
