A few years ago our son was performing with the orchestra in a Musical Theater of Denton production. It had been a while since our last visit to the Campus Theater, we'd only gone sporadically, but so enjoyed the production and the venue that we...More

I enjoy this theatre and the performances that I have seen there. They are mostly quite good (Shakespearean attempts, an exception). The community theatre relies on some professional actors as well as theatre students from the U of North Texas. Admission is very modest. All...More

I've been pleased by this theater. The seats are comfortable, the sightlines excellent and the acoustics are very good. The people who manage the productions do a very nice job given Denton's relatively small size. I suspect having a university here that has a strong...More

This is a former movie theater, and while reconfigured into an intimate Broadway style theater, it retains its original interesting architecture (check out the lobby ceilings and floors, and the theater walls). Home to many events, I mostly see shows by Denton Community Theater and...More

Took my wife of 52 years on our first date to this theater. It has been restored beautifully serving as a venue for the local theater company.

I have seen quite a few musicals at the Campus and enjoyed everyone except for "Rent" which we left early on. The acting and singing is usually exceptional for such a small theatre and one that stays in memory was the Patsy Cline story. The...More

This theater is wonderful! It's small enough to be cozy and intimate, beautifully refurbished and lovingly kept up by staff and volunteers alike. The performances are notoriously wonderfully done, in this amazing little treasure. Sound quality is amazing and the only thing lacking is enough...More

Which participants? I believe the organizations have boards that make decisions. There are tryouts for the parts in the performances. The venue can be rented, contact the Greater Denton Arts Council for rates.
