Driftwood Estate Winery sits in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country on a bluff overlooking the vineyards below. Come enjoy a bottle of our Texas wine!

The Driftwood Estate Winery staff invites you to take a scenic Hill Country drive to the winery and try our award winning wines. The view from the bluff is spectacular, and the grounds are perfect for a picnic with your favorite glass or bottle of Driftwood Estate wine.

We are open every day from 11am till 7pm for tastings and wine sales. We are closed for Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. We may close early for a Wine Club Party or private event. Always check our website or Facebook page to see if we have extended hours.

Taste any 6 wines listed on our tasting sheet for $10. The tasting fee includes a Driftwood logo souvenir wine glass. Gold and Silver Spur Wine Club Members now receive 4 complimentary wine tastings per membership every visit during regular business hours. Complimentary tastings do not include a wine glass. Active duty military receive a free tasting and 10% discount on all wine purchases. We thank you for your service.

For groups of 10 or more, please contact us ahead of time to see if an advanced booking is needed. For information about private group tasting visit our website.

A complete list and description of our wines can be found on the wine store page. For a list of stores that carry our wines as well as restaurants that serve them, visit the retail outlets page. In addition to our wines, we are also tasting and selling several premium wines from our sister winery in Paso Robles and one wine from Brady Vineyards.

Come by for lunch and enjoy the view from our 1,100 square foot deck overhanging the bluff, our picnic area under the oak trees or our pavilion next to the tasting room. They all have a beautiful view of the hill country and vineyard below. Our outdoor facilities are for the use of winery customers only and no alcoholic beverages can be brought onto the winery premises. Bring your own lunch. Pet friendly!

The DEW Crew is looking forward to your visit!

Cheers!

I've been to this winery more times than I can count... the cost of a tasting is very reasonable and you get to keep your glass... their wine is very mature compared to some other wines in the area and they have a wonderful selection of reds...im a cab sav lady myself but they have several sweet reds and whites... The view is very nice but Hawks Shadow still has a better view. There was a foul odor in the tasting room on the day we visited. We also noticed that they had a wood fire pizza oven truck on site but upon closer inspection we decided it might not be the safest choice to eat there. Twisted X brewery... More

We went here on a spur of the moment trip from Wimberley. We loved the place. The wine was good and the setting was great. We liked it so much we joined their wine club. This will give us free tastings with a guest and discounted wines. Looking forward to enjoying this place. We had a wood fired pizza from... More

Visited on our anniversary weekend - it was a rainy day, so the place wasn't too crowded. Everyone at the winery was so nice and had a nice chat with the woman leading our tasting. Wine was delicious and the grounds were beautiful even on a gray day. This is a little out of the way but definitely worth the... More

This used to be one of my favorite stops when in Austin and as a matter of fact we would visit and buy a case at least 2-3 x a year. My last visit we had decided to hire a limo so we did not have to worry about drinking and driving. When we pulled up to Driftwood, a police... More

The wine tasting was friendly, not even that crowded for a sunny Saturday. The wine itself was fine, though I'm not much of a wine drinker. No, we come here for the fantastic views of the Texas Hill Country which the Driftwood Estate really shows off. They recently added a large patio overlooking the vista, in addition to their big... This is a beautifully located winery off the beaten path. It is well worth the visit. They have excellent quality wines and the staff are very knowledgeable. Our server was a bit distracted as he had to take several phone calls regarding their quarterly wine club shipments, however we were in no rush and the tasting bar was not too... More

Amazing view from the top. I could sit here all evening and enjoy wine and watch the sunset. The Longhorn Red Blend and Lone Star Cab were our two favorites. Jon was fantastic with the tasting after we were told by a not so great staff member that it was too late! It was 5:40 and they close at 6.... More

We were invited to a family gathering prior to a wedding the following day. We were in the Mercedes Cabriolet, and realized that we'd have to put the top up, because the road up the hill was dirt. Arriving in the parking area, we found a great spot and parked. We found out party and soon found ourselves with glasses... More
