In 2007 Piasono Pete was repainted by an offender @ Lynaugh Prison. My husband was then the craft shop supervisor. It is good to see the offender’s work when we go through or return to visit.

A busy intersection but there is room to park and get out for a family photo. You can also get a shot of the historic sign over the road.

I heard about the Giant Road Runner. I decided to check it out, mainly to get a photo for travelling through. The Road Runner is interesting. It also has great history for itself and the city of Fort Stockton.

There's a gravel parking lot directly in back of this. The visitor's center across the street has some super helpful information not only on this area but on the surrounding attractions as well.

It’s visible from the road yet we parked and got closer. The detail is amazing! It’s a well done piece of art. We were somewhat surprised that there was no signage to give credit to who ever it was that made it.

Great tourist idea for a photo. Since I like roadrunner a fun stop. Otherwise nothing real special. If in Fort Stockton a must see in the middle of town

Yes...stop here for a photo op. We missed it at first and had to turn around. Jump out and take your picture so if anyone asks if you saw any roadrunners....Well yes you did!
