Whenever there is an event going on here it’s a lovely place to be. I do wish the inside of the convention center had more food option. But normally most people events have food trucks. If you have young kids be mindful of that because people move away fast and you wouldn’t want to lose the little ones. Other then that this is a great place to go for comic cons and other sporting events.

We have long enjoyed the community events ranging from The Lawn & Garden Show to the Circus, along with other entertainment, civic & professional training venues that the Convention Center hosts for local citizens & visitors to the great city of Fort Worth. This is a quality site that is conveniently located close to good hotels, often in easy walking distance, & adjoining the incredible public Water Gardens. This allows convention patrons a next-door opportunity to take a break & enjoy the outdoor experience of a relaxing walk & view of trees, the sound of cascading water, & a safe outdoor setting right in downtown. Great restaurants within walking distance, coffee shop across the street, & easy access parking. Our latest experience @ this site was the Circus, which is always an adventure for me. The acts, characters, & animals were all fantastic, & the Convention Center was spacious, well-managed, & clean. Rest rooms were consistently being cleaned, which is always a good indicator of the general care be given to a public facility. Public bikes are available @ the corner of you decide to tour the area. You can usually find free parking @ the Texas & Pacific Lofts parking area, one city block away on West Lancaster Avenue, if you come early. Very convenient, but do not park in the Post Office side, or you will be towed! Visit the Water Gardens before you leave, especially @ night. It is safe with security guards posted. Fort Worth is one of the safest cities in our country. Plan to attend an event @ the Convention Center & enjoy one of the most friendly cities that you will ever visit!

Nice facilities - good sized rooms for the girls to change and be situated for the day in. Clean bathrooms. My only complaint is that the food is outrageously expensive!! They allow food brought in so think of bringing snacks and/or lunch foods and drinks. One hot dog was $4 and one drink was $4!!!!

attended a cheerleading competition. $25 each to get into arena with the most outdated uncomfortable seats I have had the displeasure to use in a long time. Not to mention the overpriced food and beverage. If you are going to overcharge...refurbish! Will think twice about going back, even for my granddaughter.

The Convention Center was centrally located with plenty of hotels and restaurants around it. There was plenty of security and the concert madness was very well controlled. I highly recommend attending events there.

SWBC17 was absolutely GREAT! The 3 rating had to do with the facility. Although seating is plentiful and the rest rooms were clean and the food vendors were better than average for a public arena, THE FACILITY WAS TOO COLD!!! Outside temps were 95 to 100 and to be comfortable on the inside required long sleeved shirts under sweatshirts and light jackets, long pants, socks and regular shoes. I am not exaggerating. There were many at the meetings that left early every day because of the cold temperatures. Pack a winter parka when you go there. We were there first week of August 2017.

This is a great convention center with plenty of room for a tradeshow. The staff was very friendly and professional and helped to facilitate the show. The only thing I would ask is that the temperature in the rooms was turned up a little.

I've been to the this facility many times and find it well maintained, clean and staffed by friendly people. Yes parking is outrageous, but that's pretty much the way it is at any large conference facility I've been to. Today I wanted to address the food issue. Most of the sit-down meals I've had at conferences here have been typical "banquet food", usually done well, but my standards are pretty low for such meals.
Like the parking, you pretty much go into a large exhibit hall at a convention expecting to be "fleeced" at the concession stand. I'd say that FWCC's $9.00 hamburgers and $4.00 cokes uphold this tradition well.
Yesterday I opted for a tray of nachos with cheese for $4.50 instead of the hamburger. My disappointment was that the nachos were "leathery" and the cheese had a slight metallic taste to it. Although I opted for no jalapenos, the re seemed to be some jalapeno juice in the cheese. Had some stomach issues a few hours later.

Attended the ISS show this weekend and was very impressed with the HUGE, spacious space. Never felt crowded. The restrooms were extremely maintained and the facilities are very well kept. It's an older facility and its nice to see the well built buildings.
We parked at the Train station parking space for $5.00 and walked to the center. It's a short walk.

The fort Worth convention center is located right in downtown. There are several hotel right next to it. It is a bit old but big enough for a medium sized tradeshow. There are entrance all around so make sure you get to the right one
