If you are in Fort Worth go to the stockyards and watch the cowboys drive the longhorn cattle down the middle Exchange St. This happens at 11am and 4pm.You stand on the sidewalk and they go right by. I live in the area when someone...More

The herd walks down the street, only taking about 5 minutes, led and herded by cowboys all around. They have people making sure that no one steps in the street. So keep that in mind when you pick your viewing spot. The whole thing happens...More

So glad we saw this. Twice a day the cowboys come down the street with these beautiful steer. A fun site to see. Magnificent animals.

Longhorns march through town twice a day. Arrange your schedule to take in this quick parade of Longhorns and the stockyard area! Fun to see and experience. Inquire at the visitors center for direct parade route.

We went to the 4:00 bull herding. There were only 15,- 20 Longhorns. It starts right at 4:00 and only last a short time so don't be late. Parking can be a little tricky so account for that also.

This, in my opinion, was not worth making the trip to Fort Worth. I wouldn't plan my day around it. Very few cattle and not at all exciting.
