- races18mKerrville, Texas23 contributionsWe tried them all!We stopped here on a whim a few years back, now we are wine club members and stop by regularly. They have the best selection of Texas wines. Both sweet and dry wines, whites and reds are available. All the staff are knowledgeable and really take the time to explain the wine tasting notes. The best customer service!Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten November 4, 2023
- Kelly KPhoenix, Arizona2 contributionsGreat wine selections and Danielle is awesomeI did not visit this winery. That said, I have enjoyed a few bottles having been gifted them by Danielle. I wish I could have them shipped to our home here in Arizona. The selections were fantastic and the knowledge Danielle stands to impart is refreshing. I agree with another recent post - it is clear she loves what she does! I'm hoping I have a chance to visit in person in the future! Kudos!Visited September 2023Travelled with friendsWritten November 12, 2023

She was so informative, so fun, and so relatable! We learned so much & had fun doing it! HIGHLY recommend Sally at Wedding Tree. We’ve done other wine tours in Napa but Sally is the Gold Standard as a teacher. Cheers!Visited September 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten September 26, 2024

We stopped for a tasting. Its kind of in a small shopping group of stores. We opted to sit outside on the back veranda with a large stone fireplace which would be nice in chillier weather. Not a particularly eye appealing porch overlooking a few houses but it was pleasant. Note to tasters though--if you want the server to come outside for the tasting it will cost you $20! I wouldn't mind but we were the only ones there. I guess walking in and out is ok but you don't really get the full experience and description of your wines waiting for her to come back to the bar each time. Wines were good but nothing we had to have. Clever names of the wines for wedding themes.

This was our second visit to Wedding Oak and although our tour did not stop we made sure to make a a separate go to see Bruce and taste some of their newer wines. As always the selection was extraordinary and Bruce’s knowledge and hospitality was above and beyond. This will always be a guaranteed stop here in Fredericksburg.

Great service by Bruce! The wine is really good, became wine club members lol. Been drinking Wedding Oak wine for a couple years now, and it’s never disappointed. Great place.

Love coming here! Today I had Something Blue and that was really good! Normally I love Bridal Veil and their white wines (Viognier, Albariño). Good wines, good service!

Our women veterans group visited on October 6th 2018. Im not sure what was going on here (although apparently two staff called in) this was one of the worst wine tasting experiences our group had. We had booked a tasting because there was a group of 12 of us and while we were a little late due to shuttle, it was obvious that the staff was overwhelmed trying to handle even what was at the counter. We were pretty much ignored initially and were trying to figure out where to go since we knew we wouldn't be at the counter. Eventually one of the ladies(she never told us her name) huffed at us about going out to the another room but we didn't know where it was since this was our first time. After about 15-20 minutes she finally showed us where the room was, left us and came back with a white wine. which she started pouring without asking us what we would like (ie red, white, dry/sweet). She also didn't bring us any sheets about the flights or wines nor even tell us what she was serving other than to complain about missing 2 staff and being flustered. I get it, but she could have at least talked about the wine she was trying to pour in everyones glass. Now it didn't really get better from there although she did bring out sheets eventually. She was impatient with us and gave the impression that she really didn't want to be there and she didn't want to help. I will give her that we did have some more picky folks that really only liked sweet wines (think muscato) but several were experienced wine drinkers and really did understand about wine. Now about the wine itself, I never throw out wine during a tasting, at least rarely, I may not care for it but I give it a chance. These were not pleasant wines. They were extremely dry and seemed to have a lot of tannins. so felt very acidic going down. The Sangiovese was decent, but the rest I just tossed after one sip. It didn't help with the bad attitude of the staff member. She got very defensive when we didn't like a wine as if there was something wrong with us rather than the wine or even that it just wasn't right for us.She kept saying " everyone loves this" I have never had such a bad experience during a tasting even when I didn't like a wine it was usually still fun since not every one has the same tastes. I was never made to feel bad if I didn't like a wine served. This was also the most expensive of the tastings that we did that day and we all left disappointed and let down by the experience...Turns out we weren't they only ones that had the same issue with the same Lady. A group of five riding the shuttle with us said they had the same issues and that the brown haired lady almost asked one of the group members to leave because she didn't like any of the wines. Thank God for Messina Hof and Baron Creek making up for this one...I will never return here even if they did have super cute little stores and out door items.

My husband and I love Wedding Oak. The wines are fantastic and unlike anything else in the area and the staff is always amazing. Came for a long weekend and we weren’t disappointed. Even joined their wine club this time! Don’t miss it.

We visited Wildseed Farms and were glad to see the Wedding Oak tasting room, but the young man who was working there seemed bored and slightly annoyed that we were asking questions about the wines he was pouring. We wanted to try the tempranillo but we're told we couldn't unless we joined the wine club.

My wife, dog, and I were welcomed into this little tasting room by a friendly staff. They are very dog and people friendly. It is a bonus that it is located inside of the Wildseed Farms where one can explore gardens and shop for garden plants and items. It is a gteat wine tasting experience! Enjoy!
