Rancho Ponte is a small-production, family-run winery with 5-acres of vines on a working 20 acre ranch, a beautiful tasting room and a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Our wines have a passionate word-of-mouth following. We specialize in exceptional blends such as our Meritage (Cab Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Malbec, Merlot) and our Sorelline (Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Viognier and Muscat Canelli). Visit us and meet some of the nicest people on the Fredericksburg Wine Road 290!

Our server was incredibly friendly, and we truly enjoyed our visit - in spite of not being too crazy about the wine. Great people, great store, and I'm certain others will love the wine. If you're wine tasting in FBG, you may as well give...More

Wines are good but not great for the area. Did not come away from this winery thinking that I needed to go back and there is a lot of competition in the area.

Nice place really Luckenbach. Good, friendly staff. Nice smooth wines. Good tasting room, but there is an outside area for seating when they have wine parties with food and live entertainment. Smooth white wines and nice reds.

In a full day of wine tastings, Rancho Points was by far the best wine and the best tasting experience. The owner is from Italy and the wines are as good as all the wine we've sampled in Europe. There are also three tasty menu...More

As soon as I walked in I could tell this was not going to be my kind of place. The owner was so rude. She didn't say hi, didn't crack a smile. She looked at me and said "Do you want something?" I don't even...More

We visited some wineries near Fredericksburg while there for a few days. Most are "ok" to "good" but the wines at Rancho Ponte really delivered. They have award winning wines and the Red Wines, my favorite, are fantastic. They have multiple layers of flavors and...More
