Decent Wine Not Great Service

The lady who talks you through tasting and whatnot cannot even drink red wine so she has no clue what she's talking about. I must say their Christmas wine is amazing. We bought 6... read more

We liked their wide array of wine to try. We shared a tasting between the two of us and the portion was positively compensated for that. Our hostess, Manerva (sp?) was great. One other lady popped over to help us too, but she wasn't as nice. We ordered the sweet wines to try and bought the orange Muscat and the... More

I very much enjoyed the wine tasting here. So much so that I bought a bottle of their ice wine to put in my suitcase and fly it home. Can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed our wine tasting. The hostess was very accommodating and gave us more than the five tastings. (5 tastings and a glass for $10) Since we were flying, they made sure to bubble wrap our purchases. That is always a plus. And try the peach and apple cobblers in the jam tasting area. They were fantastic!

Hostess was rude, pushy and generally talked down to us. Tried to ask a few questions about their product and how it might compare to wines from other areas of the country and were treated like we were out if line for asking about it. She wouldn't tell us where their grapes came from. After 5 minutes of uncomfortable dialogue... More

So nice to enjoy some wine tasting. Nice visit and a good selection of wines to try. Good to enjoy the wines and support a great family business.

If you're right in town this isn't a bad place to stop by for foot traffic (and I think that's how they stay in business) but if you want better service go elsewhere. They had a really nice Gluwein and Patriotic wine that my husband and I sampled but the lady working the counter was very indifferent. The samples were... More

In a town of beautiful wineries, there is no need to settle for a strip center, "winery" with tacky souvenirs and pushy staff.

Our favorite was the woman with an odd German(?) accent who said "If its not from Texas, it's foreign" when my wife asked if all the wines (horrible) were made from Texas grapes. LOL Also, my wife asked if any of the wines had been oaked: "They are made in the steel tanks you see behind me" (rather unfriendly tone)... More

The wine was okay at best. The woman doing the wine tasting was so rude I would not have bought anything even if it tasted amazing.
