Although I've been to Fredericksburg many times through the years, this was my first visit to the Visitor Information Center. Afterwards, I visited more places than I ever knew existed.

If you aren't familiar with Fredericksburg this should be your first stop in town. The staff there is VERY helpful and informative. They will provide maps, directions, recommendations and brochures of places to visit. A plus is the public restrooms on site.

Took us half hour to find it (it is off of Main street- not a likely location) but had clean public bathrooms and very friendly informative ladies to help us.

Information Center is located one street away from Main Street and is packed with brochures and information to help organize the day. In addition, staff is very helpful and attentive. There are picnic tables on the grounds and bathrooms on site.
