We purchased a Galveston Island Pass to save money and just got the ticket to the rainforest pyramid. There is soooo much to see at Moody Gardens, buy the big $57 dollar ticket and enjoy it all!

There is construction everywhere. There are great exhibits, but not currently open. I'm sure this place will be much more entertaining and educational once completed.

My 4&6 year old took all day and explored this garden. It was an overall great experience. The 3D and 4d shows were very fun. The paddle boat was cool but pretty boring for them as you just sit and go around in a circle and it was VERY hot so they didn't want to leave the ac part too... More

We visited The Aquarium and Rainforest and we will never return. Not only is it old but overpriced and hardly any animals to be seen in the rainforest building. When we asked the guy working there, "where are the animals?" He responded with, "there is a sloth somewhere and a few species of birds." Well, we never saw the sloth... More

The walk-through aquarium is very accommodating for children and even the member of our family with their walker. You can take your time, and there are even benches here and there to sit down and rest and they're where you can always enjoy a beautiful feature of the aquarium. Great Summer place to visit..out of the heat! Reasonably priced and... More

We went to the rain forest and aquarium pyramids. I am unimpressed. The aquarium is under construction so some of it is closed. We got a deal using the Island pass. I still feel I over paid. The Rain Forest had exhibitions closed for different reasons. They look cool from the outside but inside it is a 3rd rate zoo.

Moody Gardens consists of the Rainforest Pyramid, the Aquarium Pyramid, and the Discovery Pyramid, along with several other attractions. There is a small waterpark, an old steamboat ride around the bayou and a couple of 4D theaters. Our party of ten, ages 10-68, all had a great time!

There are several areas to visit with a day pass. We went to the Aquarium, Science center, the beach/water park area, the Rainforest, saw the 4-D movie and a movie on the 3-D screen. The Aquarium was really good and had a lot of various sea life including sharks, penguins, rays, sea horses and sea stars (starfish). The Rainforest was... More

Hi Irene, Thanks for your feedback. We're very happy to hear that you enjoyed the Aquarium. Unfortunately due to some recent tree maintenance, we've begun releasing our butterflies throughout the entire Rainforest versus just the canopy (as we have in the past) and they're often very difficult to spot. We appreciate your comments about Palm Beach and the Discovery Museum.... More
