This is a relatively small state park on Galveston Island. The rv camp sites along the Gulf are quite nice, as are the bath facilities.

My boys went here over the weekend to go crabbing and exploring. Overall, they had a nice hike, fun looking for snakes, and catching crabs. What more could boys ask for?

I am positive that I have salt water in my veins. I was at peace here. Just wading in the Gulf was the high point of our 3 week vacation.

We were in Galveston on a warm sunny early November (2017) day. As such, the state park was a wonderful place to go. Its fun to go to. The views are scenic.
