I'm from Galveston County, and have turned a lot of folks onto Galveston Island. For those who have 30 minutes to watch this VERY informative show, I almost always make sure it's on the itinerary. I've probably seen it at least 20 times now, and...More

Film regarding history of Galveston. Anyone visiting the City should see, makes one appreciate the historic buildings, including the homes, and along with Strand. Add bonus, was the film on Pirates history of the area that most have forgotten about.

This film is pretty good and gives a historical review about the Great Storm of the 1900's. Over 6,000 people lost their lives in this storm in America and resulted in millions of dollars of damage. A very sobering picture.

We really like the 2 shows. The information on the hurricane of 1900 was enlightening. Very interesting.

Located at Pier 21, this 27-minute film trys to recount the 1900 hurricane that devastated Galveston. Made in 1993, this film is really not worth the $6 ea. Read the book Isaac's Storm or buy the book "Galveston and the 1900 Storm" in the gift...More
