This walk was simple and beautiful. The water was clear and worth the trip. Highly recommended for a light hike with a picnic lunch. So much fun!!!!

Except for some freeway noise, you feel like you are out in the country! Lovely small river. Good concrete path with milage signs, water, kids play area and restrooms.

I live in Georgetown and never visited the park that the San Gabriel Runs through. I did with friends the other day and it was a peaceful and wonderful visit. Recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I love the fact that the river runs through Georgetown and that there are trails for pretty much that entire length. You can walk along the river in San Gabriel Park or Rivery Park or several others, or walk between those parks along the trails.
