Our driver Rick was excellent and everything he instructs you to do is foe a very good reason and for your own safety. We really enjoyed all of the wildlife but especially the Giraffes and the Ostrich's. Bring a good camera .Beautiful countryside.

The vast majority of the animals live outside so the have to be outside. I would think they would be even more driven to let you feed them. I have not been there in cold weather so It is a guess.

Yes, HUMAN food. We ordered out at a restaurant, brought in the food in our car, and ate at picnic tables at the top of the turnaround (where there is a gift shop and restaurant). The picnic area has multiple tables.
