This was the beginning of Glen Rose. The Barnards' were the founders of the city and lived in and ran this mill. The building is excellent. It is now used as an art museum.

This is a truly historical building and authentic with a great story. They have art on display and give a great tour. The building has been a store, mill, hospital and art museum.

I was able to take a lot of beautiful pics at this historic mill even though it was actually closed the day I was there. I believe it is only open on the weekends.

This historic structure has a fascinating history and many of the rooms now function as an art gallery. In addition to etchings there are works paintings and sculpture of western themes. The sculpture in particular is world class.
