lovely place, lots of great recreations and info about the dinosaurs along the outdoor trail. Kids loved mining for gems (extra), and digging for fossils (extra). Animatronics wasn't that impressive. If your kids love dinosaurs, they will love this place.

We have a 4yr old roaring about dinosaurs and this was a perfect place him! The trail is not long, play ground was awesome, museum was neat, fossil dig and bone yard was relaxing. Already planning to come back for his birthday!

Fun activity for younger kids! Walk and see the dinosaur models outside and the animatronic ones inside (might be scary for littler ones). My daughter (4) loved panning for the gems and digging in the fossil beds too!

This was a last minute decision for us and we're glad we did it! It's a little pricey for what it is (in my opinion) but it is really cool! Especially for someone who loves dinosaurs or has kids that love them! I recommend it!...More

We planned this stop so we could eat our picnic lunch here. There are tables near a playground. You have to bring your own food. The kids did the fossil dig which took about 10 minutes. They sift the sand and there are lots of...More

Young Children Love Hands on Activities, so pay the extra to pan for gems and feed the fish. Sifting for fossils is included in the admission fee.

Nice paved shaded trails. The kids got to mine for gems, uncover dinosaur bones and dig for fossils. There is a big playground and picnic area also. The museum was good. And the kids loved feeding the Koi.

The dinosaurs are statues in a natural setting, similar to what you might see in a museum. The fact they did not move didn't detract from my 5 year old grand twins enjoyment!

2 to 3 hours. Check the fossil dig times (4 or 5 times a day as I recall) and you may want to schedule accordingly.

Yes! Oakdale Park is 7 minutes away from Dinosaur World, and it's wonderful. There is a huge swimming pool, lots of trees, lots of beautiful playground equipment for children, concession stand, and across the street... More
