We did not get to attend a performance, but the House, itself, is a must see. Beautiful. We just opened the door to peek in and were invited by a very hospitable person to look around. She told us the history of the building.

We spent Saturday evening watching the live play A Streetcar Named Desire. What amazing an amazing performance. The Opera House it self is gorgeous from the beautiful chandliers to the sweeping staircases and balcony. Well worth a trip to Granbury.

There is nothing not to like! The building is beautiful, the seats are comfortable, and they all seem to have a good view of the stage. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
