A very cool and fun activity to try! Christina was extremely knowledgeable about bees. My favorite part was just listening to her talk about them! The tour of the beehive was great fun, too! Thanks for letting us get to try this unique experience.

Really loved the tour! I have looked up information about honeybees before, but this was just so much more fun and the information stuck with me so much better. There is nothing quite like seeing it in real life.
Anything you want to know? Just ask. Also they take plenty of photos so that you don't have to, but if you want to they provide styluses so that you can use your phone through the bee suit that they provide. They make sure everyone gets a chance to hold the bees and everything too.
I did not bring any children, but it was cute to see how excited the ones that did come got when it came to the live bees!

❌❌DO YOUR RESEARCH VERY DANGEROUS ❌❌❌
They should have warning labels on their honey to protect and inform the public of the risk and dangers .
I bought honey from them today and ate a teaspoon right after picking it up . Less than a hour later I’m in the emergency room dealing with Grayanotoxin Poisoning.
It can be fatal so please seek medical asap like I had too .
They do not follow the health and state regulations for selling honey online . Well me contacting my lawyer .

We had a great time at Nottingham Bee Farm. I learned more about bees in less than 10 minutes than I have ever known over my entire life and I am over 35. Our guide is an expert and passionate about what they do. It comes across in their knowledge and patient communication with visitors. No one is forced to do anything. Everything is at your pace and comfort level. You can even purchase many things made from their local honey before you leave. I bought a butter pecan lip balm made from their honey. It smells great. They were even so sweet to take pictures for us since during parts of the activity it would be quite difficult to get great pictures on your own.

We learned a lot about bees and it was a once in a lifetime type of experience to hold a column full of bees (and not get stung)!

Attended a 2h tour of the bee farm with my 13y old. It was very interesting and Christina did a fantastic job first explaining to us how honeybees lived. We learnt a lot of very interesting facts in this phase of the tour. She then helped us into our protective gear and took us to the bee hives. We spent more than 30 minutes examining the hives, looking for the queen bee and seeing first hand what she had just explained, I recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys honey and is remotely interested in how it is made.

Absolutely fascinating! We learned so much about bees and honey. We even had the opportunity to help a swarm enter its new home. Our host and hostess were very knowledgeable, friendly, and COVID safe. We highly suggest it.
