Nice parks for rv or tent. We have stayed at Taylor Park and Wilson Fox park. We like it because spaces are not so close and love the covered picnic table. Bathrooms/showers could use a GOOD cleaning.

Our RV Camp Site #49 was good! This was my second time to camp there. Last year camp site #18 and #19 was good. The boat dock is good. We had our kayaks. It was cold that day.

We visited three of the four parks on the banks of Granger Lake; Willis Creek Park, Friendship Park, and Wilson H. Fox Park. As far as parks go, they were average Army Corps of Engineers Parks. They weren't spectacular— partially because of the serious drought...More

Granger has several campgrounds. Sites are flat, paved and widely spaced with nice shelters. Restrooms are unheated and breezy. Very little privacy in showers. If the contracted mowing crew is there, lock up small stuff. We had some witnessed theft of fruit and hardware. The...More

Granger Lake is very pretty, and in the park (which has a $4 parking fee) there are many picnic tables, each under a private pavilion and also several grills. The best part is that there was hardly anyone there. Lake Georgetown has a nicer beach,...More
