Just stopped by since we were in town, nothing special, not terrible, it was a very hot day so we didn’t stay long. Area was clean, lots of people but we got to experience it and that’s what matters!

This is a great lake to get away for the day. You can enjoy a picnic, fishing, boating, kayaking or swimming. There are also several parks that offer play grounds, ball fields, and soccer fields.

I grew up here and I know the lake pretty well. My favorite spots are Rockin' S and Twin Coves Park. The waters are clean and deep. There isn't much shelter from windy days. Glass Cactus has a great view and cool fireworks in the...More

Lake Grapevine is perfect for boating. There are wonderful parks for picnics on both the Grapevine and Flower Mound sides. Great biking trails, especially on North (FM) side of the lake. The lake really only lacks a good beach for swimming.

I have seen this lake at its lowest levels and at its flooded levels. It is a Great Lake to sit by and enjoy the view. Everyone loves to have it in their selfie pics background. Easy access to several free access areas. I have...More
