Book a table in advance for lunch then sit back and enjoy the amazing service and great local food (prepared in the nearby village) with a glass of what is undoubtably the best wine we found in our visit to Crete. We ate at the Old homestead, now converted into the wine shop and tasting area, though soon this will... More

Awesome winery with wonderful atmosphere. Love this place and their wines. Buy as many wines you can from the winery, very good prices. Try also Terrior (their own Olive oil and the wild sea salt.

Yesterday we made a winetasting at manousakis winery for 7€, we had a Tour by a very friendly Guide. We got a very detailed view of the history of the winery and how they produce their wine. Then we made the small winetasting, got 4 different wines of the last season and were able to get the wine and Merchandising... More

Such a beautiful setting and delicious wine. Family owned and a bit off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip if you plan on visiting Crete. Take a moment to breathe in some of the freshest air in the world once you're up there. I would return to this place in a heartbeat recommend to all :)

I absolutely, loved the wine tasting and tour of the winery! Our guide gave us a good overview of winery history and education on wine tasting. We had a light lunch and tasting of 5 wines for an affordable price. I will certainly be back to manousakis winery.

We spent a great day touring the winery and cooking (and drinking and eating) at the Manousakis winery. They were so friendly and welcoming (of course--it's Crete!), and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I cannot wait to return!

"the welcoming committee" loved this... The grounds were immaculate and I want to say "Martina" maybe not her name.. really was knowledgeable about the winery and... More
