I am really not a fan of this type of obsive folk art. It is a bit more interesting than the beer can house in that the structure is more varied but taken/inspired by the vision of the creator of this jumble of stuff and...More

If you like odd art then you will probably like this place. It's a testament of what you can do with recycled objects. Charge $5 admission, kids under 12 are free. It's worth a visit. Be sure and check out Smithers Park just down the...More

I found this not an uplifting experience: the scope, vision resulted in a melancholic experience. The creator had steam and oranges on his mind, expected the world to appreciate the vision he had created. The world did not come. Well worth the experience. The young...More

This place is very eclectic and colorful. It costs a few dollars to get in (it goes to the restoration of it) but it is a fantastic place to take pictures - many neat colorful backdrops including hearts and mosaics, and different light levels. There...More

Disappointing. The place has not been kept up. It takes just a few minutes to see it and they charge $5. It's quirky in a folk art form. There is the new Smither Park just down the street, a better use of your time.

As a local, I have had the honor of visiting this unique folk art monument. Everyone has a dream and this was one man's tribute to his. It is a fun place, yet small place to explore, and a great place to take pictures.

we discovered this weird magical place by accident. It's placed right next to all these small houses. you can't even really describe what this is - a park, a museum, a playground, an art show - you just have to discover the history of this...More

In 1956, a postal worker began building a monument to the orange. He believed that the orange was the perfect food, and over the next 23 years he built a shrine to the humble fruit. The Orange Show Monument is indescribable. It's kitschy, but it's...More

The Orange Show has purchased a large park next to it, Smither Park, and is putting in incredible mosaics!!! Local artists are all taking a shot at it, and the results are nothing less than amazing. Go see it before its complete!
