First I must say that the Wortham building reminds me of Radio City Music Hall in New York City. This is a beautiful building. Very luxurious and the entire venue was breathtaking. The ushers were so accommodating and gracious. They helped us to our seats and new the the theater very well. The ballerinas were beautiful. The show was amazing.... More

We attended the Mercury Orchestra at this magnificent venue. The parking is easy and the venue itself has fantastic sound and viewing lines. You won't be disappointed!

I visit the Wortham every Easter weekend for the Dance Salad Festival. It's a mid sized older theater. All seats have good views.

The Wortham is home to the Houston Grand Opera and the Houston Ballet. It a magnificent building which houses two beautiful theatre spaces - one for the large opera and ballet performances and the other for smaller productions and stage plays. I remember when it was built and we visited during a public open house. We were blown away.

Great new performance. The theatre is a fantastic venue. We learned that you may pre-order drinks/snacks for intermission. This service is great!

We had a wonderful evening watching the Nutcracker in the Brown Theater. Beautiful decorations and a nice large venue for Houston.

For the price of the tickets the isles between the seats should have a lot more room! Trying to get out of the rows are ridiculous. If you want to get out everyone has to get up, and even then you can barely get by. I am not sure where all the comfortable seats are? But, we were not in... More

Parking is as good as you can get with that many people coming and going. They do a good job in my opinion. The theater is lovely with adequate restrooms. There's a restroom downstairs that usually has no waiting unlike the one on the top level. The seating is good and temp has never been too hot or too cold.... More

The Wortham Center is one of the great opera houses in North America. Housing the Brown and Cullen theaters, this majestic building was designed with state-of-the-art facilities for rehearsal and performance. It shares parking with the rest of Downtown's Civic Center and is surrounded by other theaters, restaurants and bars. The large esplanade in front of the Wortham serves as... More

We attend the Nutcracker every year for the past 12 years and we really enjoy it. This year is the new production of the Nutcracker and it was a AMAZING! So much better - and I really liked the previous production - but this fresh, more engaging, whimsical, and beautifully performed. They have a lot of children in the ballet... More
