Visiting Jones Hall on Sunday 02/12 to see Stomp. Not only was the show amazing but the venue is absolutely incredible. I don't believe there is a bad seat in the house. The cast was incredibly energetic and interacted well with the crowd. The show was timely and the acts held the audience captive.

Beautiful Inside and out, Jones Hall is home of the Houston Symphony and the Society for the Performing Arts. So, it has the best of classical music along with performance by top level traveling companies from the US and the World. The hall is lovely to look at and it is decorated with beautiful art and sculptures. Make time to... More

We paid over $300 for front row center seats (A6/A7) to the Dec 28 performance of Shen Yun. Directly in front of us was a four foot wall separating the orchestra pit. This wall not only limited our leg room, but completely blocked our view of anything below the waist of the performers. Looking around, we noticed other visitors had... More

Jones Hall for the Performing Arts is a wonderful venue offering great sound and good viewing from almost any seat in the house. We have watched Raiders of the Lost Ark, with the Houston Symphony providing the musical score. Wonderful performance! Most recently, we attended a concert by Smokey Robinson. Although in his 70's now, Smokey's voice is as solid... More

My wife and I went to Jones Hall to hear the Houston Symphony and a cover band perform the music of Queen. Picking up our tickets at the "will call" desk was easy and fast, cocktails were available before the concert and during intermission and the sound was outrageously good! My only complaint with Jones Hall is access to restrooms.... More

Great hall in the heart of theater District. Seats 1 and 101 are center seats. If the show has something you want to see, choose seats on the lower level. If it just something to hear, all seats are good. Underground tunnel and parking connections and close to downtown dining options. We saw Garrison Keillor One Man Show.

We went to see Raiders of the Lost Ark while the Houston Symphony played. It was fantastic!! Very well done and fascinating to watch. Intermission was nice as they do not want you to leave while symphony was playing. Snacks over priced and not worth it. Go out for dessert after! We had seen The Matrix years ago played here... A nice venue for a show as intimate yet as inviting as Blue Man, we had comfortable seats and the sound was good. It's been a few years since I was last here, and I'd forgotten how lovely and soaring is the feel in the lobby. It was the matinee, so lots of light flooded in the windows, highlighting the... More

My wife and I attended a performance of the Blue Man Group playing at Jones Hall. This is a class A theatre. Comfortable seats, perfect acoustics, and attractive lobby areas. Parking is available across the street, and there are 2 or 3 garages within a 2 block radius. Beware however that this the the theatre district of Houston so if... More

Went to Jones Hall for the Shen Yun performance at 7pm. Very clean bathrooms (men). We sat in the Mezzanine tier and had a wonderful view of the stage. I purchased some wine for my fiancé and refreshments for the children at intermission. This bar at ground level sold drinks (sodas, water, wine). The other one by section 29 was... More
