The Houston brewery offers an immersive experience, perfect for visitors of all ages. From the advanced brewing technology to the history displays, you will gain a better understanding of the historical significance of one of America’s oldest brewers.

Opened in 1966, the Houston Brewery has quickly become one of our “greenest” breweries. The brewery gets some of its energy from landfill gas that is piped in six miles from the nearby McCarty Landfill. On average, the brewery sources approximately 30 percent of its energy needs from alternative energy. The brewery’s energy efficiency and conservation efforts also include an on-site bio-energy recovery system (BERS), where brewery wastewater can be recycled adding to our water conservation efforts.

We took the tour $10 per person. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately all we got was a peek inside here and there. She would open a door for to peer in but we were not allowed to enter except for a tasting of fresh beer right from the huge steel keg. The tour was followed by... More

Loved to tour and the samples. Got a glass and a hat included with the tour. Four samples and a full beer at the end. They have two different tours-the one we did was more in depth with more inclusions and is only offered 3 times a day, not sure I would do the "cheaper" tour.

We recently spent a few hours visiting the brewery while the Clydesdales were in town for the 50 year anniversary of the Houston facility. It was really a warm day and the Clydesdales were a real treat. We were able to get up an personal with the horse - such beautiful animals (HUGE FEET, ~2000lbs) just amazing. The staff were... More

Very cool place. All the beer samples free. You also get one free full glass per visit. It's unbelievable how many brands are owned by Anhueser Busch. The tour was a little boring yet informative. The guide was really cool and the gift shop workers were super friendly. You should check this place out.

Unless you're hard up for entertainment, this is one boring tour. Highlight was the gift shop. It went down hill from there. The gift shop is full of keepsakes and trophy's of the brewing industry that relate to the Anheuser-Busch family of beers. You're not allowed in the hop room, too unsanitary. If you're short, you can't see in the... More

What an awesome experience! Our instructor Mike was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the beer experience. We were also able to see the Clydesdales and learn the history of beer making. Well worth the time and money.

If you come to Houston you have to come here. 5 stars does not do this place enough justice. The knowledge and friendliness is awesome. The bar by the shop I have never experience staff as friendly and welcoming in most bars I have visited and that's a lot! Biggest piece of advice I can give do not drive get... More

We have wanted to take this tour for years. We finally took the afternoon tour today when my dad came in town. We had a fabulous time. The staff here is spectacular and Becky was the BEST Tasting Room "Specialist" we have come across. She introduced us to many fine beverages we never knew even came from Anheueser Busch. They...
