This is a mini shopping center underground. There are multiple restaurants and a variety of stores that you can shop at. Unless you are there to escape the heat, or are looking for one of these restaurants to eat at there really isn't anything to...More

I was expecting a more historical structure. Although the tour guide was excellent and knowledgeable of houston history the tunnel itself was basically a shopping and restaurant venue. left tour halfway through.

Stayed at the DoubleTree downtown Houston, which is on the tunnel system. Weather was wet and cold so decided to explore Houston's Underground Tunnels. What a pleasant surprise. Not normally a SuperCuts customer but took a chance and got the best haircut/color in awhile. Grabbed...More

Cool place for shops and food. Pretty big, we walked quite a bit. Cool tourist thing to do. Especially for shopping.

My husband and I recently moved to Houston and wanted to get to know the area. A day spent in downtown Houston was a wonderful way to take in the culture. Houston Underground was a unique, fun and exciting area. We spent hours wandering through...More

Downtown Houston, as we wandered among its towering glass skyscrapers, did not feel very safe. Boarded up stores lined the streets, panhandling was a common sight and after office hours the deserted city took on a post-apocalyptic ambience. Not feeling as tough as Chuck Norris...More

Interesting tunnel system under the Houston streets and buildings with many restaurants but little more. Was an interesting find in downtown Houston, but not the greatest of attractions.
