I thought it may be a little bigger. I have been to the John G Shed Aquarium in Chicago and not much compares to that. Only there for about an hour and half. Things to do outside but it cost extra.

This aquarium has a great decor and nice niches and areas to discover various sub-aquatic species. I felt sorry for the magnificent Tiger ....very sad to see such a magnificent animal surrounded with concrete. The stingrays experience was interesting.

We came here 2 years ago and decided to give it another shot (we had a City Pass so may as well). Wasn't worth it the second time either. It is still tiny, only taking 45 minutes to get through the whole thing and we were taking our time. The aquariums they do have are very nice. The white tiger... More

The place is good, but in my opinion, a aquarium does not need tigers... The poor tigers stay in a place without sun and too tight! :(

My kids and I had a great time visiting here. Lots of things to do but each cost. The best thing to do is to by a bundle pass. My kids really liked the stingrays.

It was cool- packed (we went on a Saturday) and my 6 month old is just not into it yet. I don't get why there was a white tiger at the end though- at an Aquarium? It seemed odd to say the least. The restaurant associated with the Aquarium was ok- pricey and ok.

Visited with my family and we were happy but a bit sad and disappointed. They have a beautiful section with a White Tiger but the tiger was just laying there which in my opinion he looked stressed . Kids were knocking on the wall which irritated me .. They also have this place where you get to pet the stingray... More

This is a nice Aquarium and family liked it; moreso, with the stingray reef. The glass tunnel was small and and somewhat dirty. Although small and you can quickly cover the full aquarium, still consider to be at least a one time must see.

We only went to eat but the food was good and the waiter was great. When you fist walk in, there is a fishy smell from the stingrays area but you do not smell it in the actual dining area..

The Downtown Houston Aquarium is a great place. It is not as big as the Dallas Aquarium but it is still a great place to spend a hot day in Houston!! There is the opportunity to feed sting rays & make sure you ride the tram to see the sharks!
