Not just the old buildings, moved here as a collection, but check out the special events such as blacksmithing and woodworking which are scheduled on occasional Saturdays.

Spent the night in Huntsville, decided to visit on the way out. Grounds are free, parking easy, Excellent display of dwellings where family lived and how they lived. Kids will love all the ducks, chickens and roosters walking freely around the grounds. Docents were friendly...More

This is a really nice collection in regards to the life of Sam Houston. Some of the artifacts are rare and looking at the various buildings on the grounds were ALOT of fun for us!
