Description:

The Corris Craft Centre, where the King Arthur's Labyrinth adventure...

The Corris Craft Centre, where the King Arthur's Labyrinth adventure starts, is a National Tourism Awards finalist in the Best Day Out in Wales 2015!

This storytelling adventure is time travel at its best as you're swept underground by a mysterious hooded boatman and through a magical waterfall; your gateway to the Dark Ages and to the life and times of King Arthur.Once docked, your boatman guides you around the vast caverns and winding tunnels of the Labyrinth where you'll find ancient stories of King Arthur and other Welsh legends too.

Enjoy stories of the mighty King Arthur who came out of the darkness to face formidable Saxon invaders, stories of dragons foretelling Celtic glory, of a giant so colossal he waded across the Irish Sea, of King Arthur's final battle - the Battle of Camlan and more; all brought to life through dramatic scenes, light and sound. This is a real adventure for young and old whatever the weather - a cool attraction when hot and a dry attraction when wet.

We went here after looking at it on line and was disappointed as although stated it was disabled friendly, we had some issues with the walking and keeping up as it is quite a walk and also quite cold. If you struggle walking the quest is not for you but wonderful for children and families. Some good craft shops to... More

Thank you for your review. We understand that you visited King Arthur's Labyrinth, which you refer to as the quest. However, we never state that King Arthur's Labyrinth is disabled friendly in any of our literature or our websites, we wonder where you read this? King Arthur's Labyrinth uses the abandoned workings of an old Welsh slate mine as a... More

Having visited most of the major attractions in North Wales we decided to go to King Arthur's Labyrinth located just on the South tip of Snowdonia in a scenic wooded valley - especially pretty in Autumn. The attraction is at the Corris craft centre - a selection of shops selling handmade toys, crafts, candles, furniture - even a place where... More

Wonderful experience, always enjoy the boatman's style. When I was younger, I enjoyed the fact that I believed he was a ghost come back to lead others. In fact, last time I came in October 2016 with my family on last tour of day, we were the only ones on the tour! No screaming kids ruining it! No old biddies... More

We had a great family day out, taking part in the ubderground adventure, playing on the park and looking at the craft shops. Our boys 7 and 3 particulary enjoyed the chocolate shop where they both had a go at making their own chocolate. The lady in the shop was absolutely brilliant with them both. Thank you

Adults and grandchildren (2@10 and 1@7) thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The stories were well told and the boat trip was great. The kids made chocolate bars and we all enjoyed the various crafts and a great day out.

We spent 4 hours here touring the stone circle, browsing the shops and taking part in the underground adventure. Our girls 10 and 5 enjoyed the experience so did we! Lots of things in the craft centre such as making candles and chocolate. The audio on some features at the stone circle was not loud enough with passing traffic but... More

Thank you for your review, you packed a lot into your 4 hours with us. We're sorry to hear that the audio on some of the stories told in The Stone Circle was not loud enough to hear. We will look into this. Thank you for recommending us for a family day out. More

We visited Corris Craft centre and went on this attraction. It was really great for both children and adults alike. It is quite easy to walk through the underground tunnels but beware of a few low ceilings. It is a very interesting and mysterious adventure. Tips would be to wear warm clothes and sturdy footwear as it is quite cold... More

Thank you for your wonderful review about King Arthur's Labyrinth, it's great to read that you and your children enjoyed the adventure. Great advice too, regardless of the temperature above ground it's always a cool 8 degrees underground in the Labyrinth so it's best to wrap up warm. Sensible footwear is recommended too as it can be damp in places. More

Excellent adventure for the family. Even my 3 year old was gobsmacked and quiet throughout which is unusual for her. And my 11 year old found the tales enthralling. Would highly recommend but at this time of year wear a jumper.

Thank you for your brilliant review, it's wonderful to hear that you and your children had so much fun. Even on the hottest summer day, we also recommend that you wear a jumper and warm clothes as the underground caverns have a cool year round temperature of just 8 degrees. More

Took two teenagers to this attraction and went on the last trip of the day. The whole tour was rushed, the tour guide was uninteresting and uninterested. The displays are cheap, models poorly maintained and the audio system failed to function correctly. Overall this is really poor value for money, where a substantial investment would go a long way..

We are sorry to read that you did not enjoy your underground adventure and that you found the Boatman disappointing. The role of the Boatman is to sail you into the Labyrinth and then to guide you safely around the underground tunnels and caverns to find the ancient Welsh legends. We have received good reviews about our Boatmen so we... More
