It's a small museum and you do not need more than a half hour to get around, but also very informative. Besides the museum, you can have a look of historic houses around and have a good walking at the nice park near.

Really interesting museum. Lots of large vehicles to look over. Lady in charge was lovely and gave us a free mug for drinking 'tea'.

I wasn't expecting much, but this museum was large and had an interesting view of Katy history. The equipment was actually pretty nice and the folks were pretty friendly. A pleasant way to spend an hour or two.
