Awesome beach and play ground. Excellent fishing pier run by Linda's bait Shop on premises. Really nice boat ramp. Been going there all my life.

With the recent infrastructure upgrades provided by taxpayers, this is a great bay front beach park. Weekends can be crowded during warmer periods. Festival times offer limited parking. Nice day trip from Houston though.

Sylvan Beach Park has a nice area for flying kites, walking on the beach, a pier for fishing, a playground for the kids, restrooms and plenty of benches to sit and watch the relaxing waves.

We went here to take a walk to get out of our hotel and not spend money down at Kemah. There were families fishing on the pier and hanging out on the beach. The water is really murky , there are the oil barges and refineries right off the coast...it just seemed sad.

Large area. Bathrooms with space to change clothes. A ton of parking. I like that there is a rope to show children not to swim out too far. Wish it was cleaned up.... We saw garbage and cigarettes all over :(

Love coming to enjoy the sun here. Swing sets are nice for little ones. The beach is small but perfect.

Place is very big and the best NO charge for parking, you can park, walk and have a pic nic with your family, maybe bring some ball and play or just relax, no many people around, perfect for a great walk aside the ocean.

Very clean and calm place, beach and park both for the children, kind of picnic spot. Close to 26 miles from the downtown. Parking is ample and free. Fishing area as well

Thank Manu B
