The indoor center isn't that big but, it also has outdoor trails and walkways that are pleasant, handicapped and kid friendly.

Easy to find, lots of parking and it's Free! The volunteer staff members were awesome, full of information not only about the exhibits but also regarding the Lake Jackson area. The different large aquariums each showcase the unique ecosystems of coastal waters. We were able to partake in a hatchery tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. This place is doing an... More

Great place to take kids. We were not able to tour the fish hatchery the day we visited but I have heard nice comments from others. May have to return when the tour is available. The touch tank was a very nice feature at Sea Center Texas. I loved watching the Blue Crabs make their way around the tank. Kids... More

Great little sea centre. Lots to learn about the different sea areas along the Texas Gulf Coast. Fun touch tank for kids & kids at heart. Excellent & enthusiastic volunteers. Ask a volunteer to take you on a tour of the hatchery. They are doing amazing work with the Red Drum & Flouder population.

It is an interesting and educational place, especially if you are there when they are offering tours of the hatchery. The price is right (free!). But nicely done, too. Not a large place; you can see it in an hour or two depending on your level of interest.

Great local place to take the family. This is a free activity. The operate on donations and volunteers. Its very clean and the people are very friendly. There are several large aquariums inside with a touch and feel station with several kinds of crabs and shells.

Free! Family activity what more can you say. Lots to see aquarium. Visitors center. Friendly staff. Gift shop. No food or place to eat. No drinks. Soda a snack machine would be nice. A place to sit and pic nic would be nice. Could be wonderful with minor changes. I recommend

Walked in @ the center is really clean @ the aquariams have some unbelevable fish of all sorts. The cost is what you can afford. We did not go outside to see the tanks where they grow @ breed the fish but that should be interesting for young people

The Sea Center is not a large museum at all. It is small and supported locally. It is a very interesting attraction. You can spend an hour or so here. Good place for kids to be entertained.
