This is a wonderful plaza that is typical of Spanish influence in south Texas, and very common throughout Mexico's towns and even bigger cities.

This is a beautiful part of the old town of Laredo. The architecture of the church is beautiful and there is a lovely park across the street. Interesting statues in the park!

Having spent years in Southern California, this place gives you the feeling of being in Mexico. Many shops and everything is within walking distance. Church was closed when we got there but we will try and come back. They take US dollars and pesos.

History is all around us in San Augustine of Laredo. You can never get tired of looking at all the historical bldgs here so peaceful & fun to visit
