Mr. Vega was in the army stationed in Germany with elvis. He has honored elvis with this must see museum and yearly festival. It is an honor to know mr. Vega and his family. I hope they ask me to volunteer this January!

We travelled from Houston only to find the place was closed. Very disappointed. Looked it up on TripAdvisor and it was shown as open. Was told closed for renovation and will be closed for about a month.

Once a year Simon Vega opens his attic museum to visitors at Elvis Fest...he served with Elvis in boot camp and in Germany and this is his personal museum of memorabilia etc. He is 81 now and narrates his museum in person.....there is more information on the website as I believe he is open other hours as well.

This is a great place, the annual shows are worth seeing. Look them up on the internet for the show dates. The acts were sensational, and some had great vocals. A sure want to see if you knew of Elvis.

There we met a local retired teacher, Simon Vega, who served with Elvis Presley in the... More
