I have wanted to visit ever since it opened and was not disappointed. If you are expecting a place where you can spend the day-this is not it. But for the price and a little bit more time than a standard Movie, it is a very interesting history not only of Buddy, but of the birth of rock n roll... More

the museum was small and lacking items, not much to see, the drummers house that is on the property is the best part, i do recommend this museum still

This is a small exhibit. I didn't think it was worth $8.00 for entry; for the size and information you get $5.00 would be a fair price. It would have been better if they had his music playing softly in the background. My personal opinion is that the entry fee and gift shop are both overpriced.

The Buddy Holly Center is a great stopping off point when visiting Lubbock. I enjoyed getting to know a "hometown hero" of the Lubbock area from the first half of the 1900s. We took the Bishop Dunne orchestras to the Buddy Holly Center to kick off our West Texas Performance Tour. As our first stop in Lubbock, we needed a... More

While visiting Lubbock with a buddy, we made a trip to the Buddy Holly center! A smaller museum dedicated to the memory of Buddy Holly and the Crickets, but worth the time. For a man who's professional career lasted only 18 mos, his influence in was far & wide. The museum does a great job of presenting a timeline of... More

Place was very clean looked almost brand new and RENEE was very helpful. Paying admission also gave you a discount on the Lubbock old airport glider museum. Lots of stuff about Buddy, really liked this venue.

If you are a Rock & Roll fan your visit to Lubbock should include a tour of The Buddy Holly Center. Buddy Holley's life, music and tragic death are well presented here. The well maintained building and displays provide an informative view into Buddy's life, his influence on our music, with the house where The Crickets started and includes a... More

Start with the film! Informative and enjoyable. An Australian couple engaged as we were stepping onto the curb were very enthusiastic! We were also upon experiencing the City provided museum.
